The championship team has left the field. The goal posts lie passed out in the end zone and the scoreboard's flashing lights, "Drive Home Safely," are SPONSORED BY YOUR LOCAL COCA-COLA BOTTLER. In the weeks to come, the rain will fall on the trash discarded beneath the bleachers reviving the sweet odor of victory.
