Ho Lin, who first encountered hypertext in the form of IRIS Intermedia, served at various times as Teaching Assistant in Robert Coover's hypertext fiction writing workshop and a Research Assistant working with George Landow at the Institute for Research in Information and Scholarship. Lin, who (with Robert Arellano) translated much of the Intermedia materials to Storyspace, wrote several extended hypertext fictions, including A Man Named Dan and The Multivocal Man. After graduating from Brown, he received his M. F. A. in creative writing from the Johns Hopkins University, and he has taught English in Beijing. He currently works as an editor in Taiwan.
