the air is cool,
causing the skin on my exposed arms
to becomes a rough terrain;
stress deluges me

my eyes crystallize,
can’t see the landscapes or even my hand
in front of my face...
i’m swimming upstream

my ankles aluminiferous,
my feet are nailed to the earth:
forcing myself forward...
unsure if i can make it

deep breath chills,
gagging and constricting me:
i choke on my vitality...
and urgently exhale

my body is nothing but a living membrane;
everyone can see
cryogen runs through my veins,
and light refracts through me
