Meg Olsen was one of those girls you couldn't help but know. She was student council president, after a ferocious campaign of brightly colored posters (she even snuck them into the guys' bathrooms, on the inside of the stall doors, right at eye level.) She gave every opening speech at every occasion, and she was up for homecoming queen.
