"You look stunning, as usual" I said, "Can't imagine passing a day without you. Remind me again why we're not staying together?"
"Cos I'd like to get out of bed in time for dinner", she replied.
"And just how did I let that argument convince me?" I shook my head, "My age must be catching up with me."
She finally let out a wonderful, musical laugh. Sometimes, I wonder what direction my life would have taken had I not met her.
