Nobody
risks rape anymore. Taking its initiative from the New Etherlands, and in a
desperate bid to control rampant sexually transmitted diseases, prostitution
has been legalised and encouraged in most countries (with the exception of the
few that still subscribe to religion and morality in the traditional sense),
with government welfare centres erected to provide safe sex. The ladies and
men employed at these centres are screened routinely to ensure that they remain
disease free. Civil servants in a civilised world.
