Syncronicity

People say that electricity makes for perfect synchronicity, computers make things too easy. I don't find this at all true, but if I did, I'd say their concerns were warranted. Things probably shouldn't be easy. Boring music, however, is easy to enjoy. Every step is still capricious; you know exactly where it's going. Boring music is the ultimate test of mastery.

You can't control sound, as hard as you try. People plug their ears, and they yell "I'M NOT LISTENING." Of course people pretend not to listen, and frequently don't hear a goddamn thing you say, but it's pretty much an on and off valve. Eyes you can squint, ears only plug.

Still, I'd rather not let some machine take over.
