Critical Theory:
Haraway

Haraway points out that as we become more and more integrated with our machines, the borders and ideas associated with sex become blurred.

Cyborg 'sex' restores some of the lovely replicative baroque of ferns and invertebrates (such nice organic prophylactics against heterosexism). Cyborg replication is uncoupled from organic reproduction.

One may predict that as the man/machine complex becomes more and more genderless, its notions of creation and destruction may also stray from the path of past and present thought.
