Language is a power

You, the reader is the most
wonderful, abiding audience that one can ever have. You are the chosen one
who is reading my text. Nevertheless, if there is no language, no reading
can be done and hence you, the function as the reader does not
exist!
Also without language, communication between you and me
would be impossible.
With language, your thoughts can be shaped by
what I tell you through this medium. Anything that you pick up from this
lexia would shape your thinking and understanding of things.
The
question that I would like to ask is; the author being the person with the
control over language that fixes this medium, does he not have the
ultimate power over the reader?
