Blurring Boundaries

"One can removes limits on textuality, permitting it to expand....[s]uch illimitable plenitude has trult 'transformed the author', or at least the older conception of him into 'a victim of his own writing'" (Hypertext 2.0, 93).

If we regard the boundary of a text, in addition to that which define one from another, as a boundary that limits and decides the subjects a text should cover, we can discuss how the erosion of the boundary can victimise the author. According to Foucault's author-function, in particular an author defined as the standard level of quality; one who exhibits conceptual or theoretical coherence then it follows that the inclusion of an author's laundry lists, appointments notices or other nitty gritty stuffs in his works will so called kill the author.
