Three HO-scale hopper cars, each constructed a different way: The BAR is made of sheet metal, that from the Southern Pacific, which is heavily weathered, is a fairy heavy cast metal car; and the Virginian is plastic. I weathered the first two with an airbrush, spraying on both mud (on the lower parts of the cars) and grimy black, but left the silver car looking brand new. The SP hopper (see the link following) has working hopper doors held shut by a spring. As Augustus Melmotte's agent, I sold this trio to a Massachusetts line in June 2005 [GPL].
