Although both these water cranes come from British kits, the prototypes were used in America, too, particularly at passenger stations. The bright red crane, which was originally accompanied by a red and yellow square watertank located at some distance, used to appear at the end of the platform of one version of the station at Albion. Tichey Models now has made available a much finer, more detailed model.
