Eric Boswell, a former engineer on Rhodesian Railways steam locomotives who now lives in Perth, Australia, e-mailed the identification of No. 204, in sent along some other photographs of the Rodesian Railways and explained, “I was stationed at Kafue in The former N. Rhodesia which is about 120 miles from the capital Lusaka. We worked round trips to Monze, utilising the 12th class 'straight' engine which was a free steamer providing you fired them light and oftem which we thought meant light on ones feet and often on ones backside.”
