GRID stands for "Generic Region for Information Display".The virtual spaces in the Internet have provided fertile ground for interaction and information-sharing. The authors of the GRID project believe that more awareness is needed for the means in which these virtual spaces are structured, and the possibilities of liberal expression using the properties of hypertext mark-up and its abnormalities. If the landscape is the human-earth interface, then the browser window is the human-Internet interface. Searching high and low for an existing term, we found none.
