Planting trees out of the grief In Memoriam Robert Creeley
What will I do one day with all those letters full with grief, memories, sorrow and deep longing? One day, when the treasure box is full I will read each letter for the last time and put every single letter in an unadressed, white envelope and mail it. Whoever receives a letter: think of Robert Creeley and let me free from all the sorrow. If you don't know what to do with the letter: dig a hole and plant the letter like a seed; an elm will grow and I will thank each elm that I cross for you were the gardener of new life. |
