Differential movement as a strategy founded upon the facts that we live in a highly mediated and postmodern society, urges to move away from the idea of unity in subjectivity; instead, it calls for a notion of subjectivity that is nomadic, multiple, situated, embodied and accountable, and for a notion of identity that is fragmented, partial and potentially contradictory.
