I believe I received this all-metal model of a mid-twentieth-century boxcar fully assembled, though I may have added the grab irons before painting and decaling it. The construction of the original car has interest for its transitional nature: although it has metal-braced wood sides, its roof and ends are metal, as is the door. Do the hatches at either end make this a refrigerator car?
