After building thhis Alexander Models HO kit for his East Bay and Westerly Railroad, Justin Maguire realized this small coaling tower was well suited to the NBR&N, so he created scale drawings and scratchbuilt a larger version, which he removes from the modular railroad when it is in storage or it travels. This tiny country station adjacent to a country stream began life as a Suydam metal kit. Maguire carefully painted contrasting trim, weathered galvanized iron roof, and added passengers and other details.
